Pakistan officials to meet on rules for US, NATO

Pakistan’s top military and civilian leaders were set to meet on Saturday in a closed-door session to discuss new rules on coordinating with the United States and NATO, officials said. Islamabad’s uneasy alliance with the U.S. was brought to the brink of collapse by November air-strikes which killed Pakistani soldiers.

Centre rules out recall of fugitives list
New Delhi, May 20, 2011 (PTI)
The government on Friday ruled out recalling the “50 Most Wanted” list given to Pakistan after two more fugitives figuring in it were traced in India but said the document is being reviewed.
“The entire list is being reviewed. We have no plan to recall the list from Pakistan,” Secretary, Internal Security in the Home Ministry, U.K. Bansal told reporters in New Delhi.

New rules can curb cargo menace
NEW DELHI: The recent case of the body of a woman being transported through a cargo operator has once again pointed to the need for effective implementation of Carriage By Road Rules, which was notified recently by the Centre. NEW DELHI: India has made its first protests against the UK's new cap on skilled immigration.
