Kalam suggests solution to fishermen problem

Former President A.P.J.Abdul Kalam suggested that deep sea fishing, and fishing in turns in the Palk Bay, as possible solutions to resolve the contentious fisheries issue that India and Sri Lanka have been grappling with for the past few years.

Centre takes initiative to solve problems of enclaves: Pranab

Senior Congress leader Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday said the Centre has taken an initiative to solve problems facing Indian enclaves on the Indo-Bangladesh border.
Mr. Mukherjee said residents of the enclaves of both the countries had been complaining of lack of facilities for a long time.
While India has about 92 Bangladesh enclaves in its territory, 106 Indian enclaves are on Bangladeshi soil.

Mercedes recalls around 86,000 cars for removing steering problem
Washington: October 10, 2010 – IR Summary/AP - Mercedes –Benz model 2010 and 2011, E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet models, are reported to have a steering problem which the company has noted and acknowledged with regret and decided to recall around 86000 cars to remove the problem free of cost.
