Cruise ship lists 80 degrees, search for missing continues

Rome, January 14, 2012 (Tehelkanews) A cruise ship that ran aground off Italy’s western coast was listing 80 degrees to one side and had a 70-metre crack in its hull, reports said Saturday. Amritsar hottest in Punjab at 47 degrees Celsius

Amritsar in Punjab recorded the highest temperature of this season at 47 degrees Celsius Wednesday and Hisar town, in neighbouring Haryana, sweated at 47.9 degrees as the heat wave intensified over the region, a Met department official said. The highest ever temperature recorded in Amritsar was 47.7 degrees Celsius on May 21, 1978.
